Some Insight

On a weekly basis I am humbled by the little things that occur in my life; I realize I have a long way to go.

I also know I have my work cut out for me.

My chores can be mundane, repetitive, and aggravating.

Sometimes I feel like I'm running in circles and not getting anywhere.

I'm tired and I think I know why. I'm hoping you can relate.

Is that Chris still in the bed with his clothes on the floor?

I think those are the clean clothes that fell off the bed after sitting there for two days. ;D By the way, I was the one who took the picture of everyone in bed while I was on my way to work. And while you guys are posting comments, I'm the one in bed, dead tired.

Rumor has it that you both sleep naked. I don't see anything white other than socks for Chris gets off the NNN list (nightly naked and naughty), but from the picture of Nancy I can't quite tell. I think you are still on the list!

Carson--I'm glad to see someone on here has a sense of humor. Love it.

Why do we still get irritated by our people leaving things on the floor? I do and I have been married for 13 years. If you thought about it, as I have, its not always like this. Our sweet husbands and shorties do pick up after themselves, not always - but it does occur. The toilet paper thing is a big deal here. Someone once told me she felt like she was doing a good job with her teenage sons if they replaced the roll. I always think of that when I see the "resting" roll instead of the "replaced" roll. You're doing a great job.

that picture of you all in bed is perfect - LOVE IT!

and PS, i am the TP offender. i never put the roll on. actually, i am trying to do better...

Ang, that is funny. Thanks for the compliment. I thought it a fitting picture for the post. It's no wonder I feel so tired in the morning with my kids squishing me and kicking me. Who knows when they crawled in. I'm just too tired to notice. Not to mention King Size Bed. But still they want to be right up next to me. Well it's my own fault for letting them crawl into bed with us but I just remember being a kid and scared in the middle of the night and not being able to get into my parent's room. :0(

Man, can I ever relate. I don't handle it so well, most of the time! I just spent days deep cleaning my house for a book club meeting here, and now a day later it is a mess again. Plus, dirty laundry is piling up to the ceiling, since I missed a couple of day due to all of the CLEANING! Arrrr!

BTW, I chose Book of a Thousand Days for my book club month! It was wonderful, thanks for the recommendation! Have you read Left to Tell? We read it last month. It was GREAT! You should look it up if you haven't already read it!

I'm so glad you enjoyed that book. I really liked it ALOT. I'm always looking for a good book to read so I will definitely look into your suggestion.

As far as the clean house for one hour goes....that's life for now.

How funny you at least get the TP put in the bathroom, it seems that I am the one in the restroom on the toilet when it runs out and no one in site! P cloths are clean and end up on the floor too. I say AMEN to your post

So the clothes thing never changes??:) You're quite the photographer! I've been working a lot with photoshop, but I think I can take some tips from you! You're right it does take a lot of your time, huh!!
